Ellie Whittingdale

DPhil student, Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, University of Oxford

Ellie is a fifth year DPhil at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, University of Oxford and former Lead Editor of Frontiers of Socio-Legal Studies. Ellie’s research looks at how narratives about sexual violence are constructed in sexual violence support services. She is passionate about Socio-Legal theory, feminist methodologies, gender and sexuality studies, and access to justice.

Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, University of Oxford

Dr Marie Burton is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, Oxford University. A former social welfare lawyer, she specialises in access to justice, legal aid, and social welfare law. She is currently working on an oral history of the Law Centres movement.

Dr Anna Cole is the Heritage Project Officer, Rape Crisis England and Wales, 50th Anniversary oral history project, and an oral history consultant to the ‘Portsmouth Abuse and Rape Counselling Service (PARCS) Grows Everybody’ Project, working with VAWG (Violence against Women and Girls) sector leads at the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations.
